Quality Control
Tested on the line.
Checked before it ships.
Anyone can write “high quality” on a website. We would rather list what we measure. Eleven routine checks run against every production batch, and the paperwork travels with the coil.
In practice
What the tests look like.
On the line
What we actually test, batch by batch.
Dry film is measured on the line after each coat. Double-coat panels are checked against the ordered total of 22–24 µm — measured, not estimated.
Substrate incoming zinc weight is verified against the mill certificate before a coil is released to the coating line.
Whiteboard surface is written on and wiped in repeated cycles to confirm clean erasure with no ghosting build-up.
Green and black boards are wiped with a standard chalk eraser to verify even erasing and a tone-consistent surface.
100 double rubs with methyl ethyl ketone. The film must stay intact and unsoftened — the direct check that baking temperature and cure are correct.
A 1 mm grid is cut into the film, taped and pulled. No squares lift. This is the pass/fail check for paint-to-substrate bonding.
A sample is folded twice on a bending machine; tape applied over the bend must show no paint loss or cracking.
A colorimeter reading is taken per batch and compared against the retained master sample, so repeat orders match the first shipment.
Surface gloss is measured with a gloss meter against the ordered level — high-gloss and matte panels are checked separately.
Green and black surfaces run a friction test to confirm wear resistance under daily writing and erasing.
A written whiteboard panel is oven-aged at 45 °C for 72 hours. The writing must still erase cleanly — the check that residuals never burn in.
The paperwork
What ships with your order.
A test result you cannot see is a promise, not a fact. Every shipment carries the documents that turn our claims into your records.
Issued per coil, with measured zinc and coating weights. The numbers travel with the goods.
Results of the routine tests above, filed per production batch and available on request.
A colour and surface sample of every batch is kept, so later orders are matched against the original — not a memory.
Packing, labelling and loading documented before the container door is sealed.
SGS, BV or your own inspector is welcome before shipment — we book access, not excuses.
Test the surface in your own line before you commit. You cover the freight; the sample is free.
