Shipping to Russia: Why Your Order Goes by Truck, Not by Ship

A question we get from every Russian buyer at quotation stage: *can this still go by sea?*
For our shipments, no. The sea routes into Russia that this cargo used are closed to us at
present, so every Russian order moves the way the market has moved — **overland, by truck,
loaded at our plant in Bazhou and driven to destination**.

What that changes for you
Very little on the material side, a bit on the logistics side:
- Same material, same paperwork. Coils or cut-to-size panels, MTC per coil, packing list and
invoice. Nothing about the way we make or pack the board changes.
- Packing takes the road into account. Export pallets and coil cradles are strapped and
edge-protected for a long overland journey, with wrapping that handles rain, road dust and
repeated handling at border points.
- Route and transit are quoted per order. Current overland routing depends on season, border
crossing and destination city — we quote the route and transit time that applies today, not a
number from last year.
What it does not change
MOQ stays at 2 tons, coating build stays at 22–24 µm, and the mill test certificate still
travels with the material. Third-party inspection before loading is welcome, same as any other
destination.
If you are importing into Russia and want a current quotation with a real routing and a real
transit figure, send your specification and destination city — we will quote the whole route, not
just the steel.
